From physics we know: if a lens does not look yellow, it can hardly filter blue light. Likewise, not every yellowish-looking lens is an effective blue light filter. In addition, information about filter values is very often inaccurate or even incorrect and only refer to parts of the blue spectrum.
MONITOR SETTINGS: manual or automatic reduction of the blue content of screens by software solutions (e.g. F.lux or NightShift) is possible, but due to technical circumstances leads to a significant deterioration in colour rendering and blurring. The blue light safety glasses eliminate the blue components more effectively with a much better colour rendering. The image sharpness and thus the visual comfort are significantly higher.
